The wedding dinner is a wonderful excuse for the underaged to get access to drinks

The wedding dinner is a wonderful excuse for the underaged to get access to drinks because it is fitting of the occasion and there would be responsible adults to supervise. Naturally, i got a glass of wine for myself. It was not my first time drinking wine, no, but i do not think i would ever get used to the inherent bitter taste. I do not think i would ever touch beer too. The first and last time i took a sip of it, i swore to distance myself from it. It was the first time i partook alcohol. The beer was thrice as bitter as wine.

The waiter gave me a wineglass-ful of red wine. Of course, the best way to finish it as fast as possible, without fuss or prolonging the process of taking in the unpleasant bitter taste was to drink it in one go. In addition to that, i had wanted to observe the effect of taking in a large quantity of alcohol in a short period of time. Unfortunately, i found that i could not. I managed 4 sips and had to put the glass down. My low tolerance for bitter taste, as well as the wine's unique characteristic to gift warmth was my undoing. Warmth pierced my throat and a while later, pulsed within the walls of my stomach.

I enjoyed a short break and gave drinking another shot. This time, the 3 sips of wine went up my head, bringing along warmth and colouring my face a blush i was convinced only anime characters could create. It seems that i had inherited my father's tendency of his face being covered red from just a small amount of alcohol. When i looked into the mirror, i uncovered the way to imitate Baogong without cosmetics. It was rather embarrassing considering the "underaged and drinking" message i was sending out to the whole world and this probably will set the mantle of "no public drinking" for the rest of my life.

All along, I had this vague aspiration of experiencing being drunk. It was something i would do one day if i had the chance. The mantle just narrowed the chances and i am a step nearer to the image of locking my room door and putting away any dangerous items before setting a wine bottle beside me. After i am legal, of course. Oh wait. The bottle is made of glass and the cups either ceramic or glass. Also, wine would become vinegar if it stayed out of its bottle too long. Guess i have to find a way around that.

After downing the wine, i think i was a tad inebriated (because drunk sounds too harsh). I felt jittery, high and somewhat uninhibited. You know me. I am always considering consequences to saying what and doing what but the wine made my head too warm to consider thinking that much, thus toning down my paranoia.

Currently, i am feeling tired. It is most probably the aftereffects of the adrenaline rush.
